📘 About Malé Tide Forecast

In the northern hemisphere, the coastal area of Malé (Maldivas) is positioned at coordinates 4.18° N and 73.51° E. Its tidal pattern is semi-diurnal (two high and two low tides per day), with a mean tidal range of 0.6m and spring tides reaching up to 0.8m. With tides reaching up to 1.5m, local fishers typically work around the two hours flanking high tide to benefit from stronger flow. Bathers and stand-up paddlers can choose between morning and afternoon high tides for calm-water conditions. Waters along this coast are influenced by events such as El Niño, which can temporarily raise mean sea level. Track tidal behavior at Malé throughout 2026 using our comprehensive table with daily high and low water timestamps. In August, Malé is in its summer season, a key period for water sports, fishing, diving, and coastal navigation. Predictive modeling employs updated local oceanic constants, ensuring minimal margin of error in peak tidal timing.
